The Cordless Electrolysis Pen. This cordless electrolysis pen painlessly removes unwanted hair and proved to be as effective as professional electrolysis during a 15-week study conducted at the University of Utah. During laboratory tests the device permanently removed 39% of hair after 14 20-second exposures. Its patented non-invasive galvanic process targets hair cells at the base of the follicle to gently eradicate hair from eyebrows, upper lip, underarms, legs, and bikini lines without the scarring common to needle electrolysis. Simply apply the conductive gel to the treatment area, place a cotton swab into the pen tip, and press the cotton swab against the treatment area until the 20-second alarm sounds. Safe electrical energy from the pen reacts with the water and salt based gel to destroy hair roots and papilla. The adjustable wand tip treats individual hairs or the unit can be used with self-adhesive conductive pads to treat larger areas. Includes two AA batteries, conductive gel, set of pads, and soft carrying pouch.
